Where is SEA BLUE PHUKET GUESTHOUSE?

We're in Patong Beach, in the District of Kathu, on the Island of Phuket, Thailand. You'll find us at the very short soi (road) that connects the Jungceylon Shopping Mall to Nanai Rd. Closer to he Nanai Rd. end, and 6 shophouses back from the 3 way intersection (Banzaan & Nanai). Our big Blue Sign "SEA BLUE PHUKET GUESTHOUSE & BACKPACKER HOSTEL" on our building, our small corridor entrance that we share with a Pharmacy.

Our Taxi stopped and tried to sell us another guesthouse. What do we do?

Dispite it being illegal, most Mini-Busses, and Airport Cars will stop along the way and attempt to sell you accomdation. The good news here is that they are fairly low pressure.

They may tell you that our place is not good, not clean, in a bad location, etc. But, I assure you that we are 100% what we say we are, A GREAT LITTLE GUESTHOUSE, CLEAN, CENTRAL, and a good place to stay!

SEA BLUE recommends that you tell them that you've booked and prepaid for your room already. Keep your cool and they'll bring you to our guesthouse. IF they need directions, they can call us anytime.

What is Patong all about? What can we do?

Patong, once a sleepy fishing village is now booming with the feel of a small city. It still has the same great 2.5KM Sandy Beach, but lately is known more for it's latenight nightlife, multitude of Bars, Discos, Tailors, Street Vendors, Tuk-Tuk's, & Massage Shops.

Spend the day at the beach, shopping, or relaxing. Go to a movie, take in a massage, or sleep in.

Night time has all types of nightlife. From the hundreds of bars on Bangla Rd to the dozens of small bars and pubs of Nanai Rd.

From the Phuket Airport

The airport is about a 45 minute drive from Patong. A few choices for transportation:

*As a result of some poor custormer experience that were out of our control, we no longer offer an airport pickup to our Guesthouse. The frustration was not reflective of the type of experience we try to provide our guests. We will help you to understand all of the transportation options available though. Thank you for understanding.

*Mini-bus 150 Baht per person (departs only when the bus sells it's last seat)

*Meter Taxi appx 450-500+ Baht, An airport car 550 Baht

All these 3 will try to get you to change to a guesthouse that gives them commission. I ASSURE YOU THAT OUR GUESTHOUSE IS NICE, CLEAN, AND IN A CENTRAL LOCATION. Don't believe anything they tell you that contradicts this information. TELL THEM YOU'VE PREPAID YOUR ROOM ALREADY and they'll likely leave you alone.

A word about Tours & Excursions in Phuket

The taxi may ask your plans while in Phuket and atttempt to book tours with you.

If possible, please wait until your arrival to book any tours or excursions. We respectfully request that if our prices are the same or similar to those offered by other tour operators, PLEASE CONSIDER BOOKING WITH US. Of course, what and where you book are entirely your own perogative. Book who and what your like. We only ask the chance, to see what we can offer, before making your final decision.
